Easter Newsletter 2024 – Deadline

Dear all

This edition of our newsletter is not just another issue; it’s our last opportunity to promote the transformative educational experiences we provide; our moment to highlight the hard work, achievements, and stories that define us as a community.

The SMT is looking for contributions of all kinds – whether it’s success stories from your classrooms, innovative teaching methods you’ve pioneered, pupil achievements that deserve the spotlight, or extracurricular triumphs that highlight our school’s spirit or our core values of Resilience, Integrity, Scholarship and Enrichment. Your stories are the key to our inspection success, and sharing them will enrich our newsletter and provide the evidence ISI requires to give us a glowing report.

Please consider this not just a call for content but as an invitation to celebrate and document our achievements. Staff input will significantly contribute to painting a comprehensive picture of our school’s ethos, values, and commitment to excellence.

In your emails to the appropriate assistant principal, please include any relevant photos (no less than 800 pixels in width), anecdotes, or insights by Friday, March 15th, to ensure we have ample time for inclusion in the newsletter. Please email me if you need help or want to discuss your ideas before submission.

I have been a staff member here for 35 years, and the school is in the best place it’s ever been. I have never seen so much going on and so many staff involved in so many brilliant activities for the children’s benefit. Unfortunately, we are often our own worst enemy because we are shy about coming forward and letting the world know just how good we are. Please help us to fix this!

In particular, it would be prudent to showcase our PHSE, careers and pupil wellbeing offerings as these are highlighted as areas of focus in the ISI’s new framework.

As always, I look forward to your contributions and celebrating our success in our upcoming newsletter.

Best
