We are delighted with the success of our new conservatory preschool room, which opened in September of last year. The room is now full, and the routine is well established, bringing us a huge sense of achievement to nursery life. The playroom is bright, airy, and thoroughly enjoyed by all the staff and children.
The Platinum Jubilee was a great opportunity for the whole nursery to gather on the tennis courts and celebrate with a tea party, bringing a valued sense of belonging to all staff and children. Our team is forever expanding as we grow as a nursery and staff go off to have their own children. We are lucky to have recruited some excellent team members who feel like they have always been part of our team, helping to create a home-from-home feeling for our little ones.
We have been enjoying the summer weather at Tower Tots and making excellent use of the beautiful grounds. Our children are in awe of nature and have loved finding flowers under the shady trees, splashing in water pools, and taking long walks across the field.
The parents love seeing the daily photographs we upload of their children exploring the varied activities and are often recommending us to their family and friends. We have had numerous enquiries over the last few weeks; however, we have limited availability, and our baby room is full until May 2023!
We are pleased to continue our 5* food hygiene rating after our recent inspection from environmental health; well done to our cooks who strive to achieve this and provide us with many healthy homemade foods.
We plan to refurbish our outdoor area at the nursery, creating a large green area for our older children to climb and explore. Still, in the meantime, our children love the natural grounds and pathways of Tower College.
